Enemieslist sendmail m4 rules antispam package now open sourced

As of a few minutes ago, I released the entire Enemieslist sendmail m4 rules antispam package via github under BSD license terms. Access to the existing DNSBL mirrors is of course not necessarily included, but we're not currently locking it down. What this release means is that the various rules and heuristics I developed (with the help of many others, you know who you are) while also developing the Enemieslist patterns data, and which I've used as my sendmail config for more than eight years are now in the open. Anyone with the necessary m4 skills can now transform the package into anything they like, improve upon it, remove old, stale checks, simplify the configuration, add more knobs and handles and features, anything.

Find the git repository here.

As always, I'll be around if anyone has questions, either via the various mailing lists or via email at support@enemieslist.com. I can't promise rapid turnaround on questions, feature requests, and so forth, but I'll do my best. I'll be adding sample .mc files and default policy configuration examples soon (they exist, I just need to copy them into the repository and push).

Thanks to everyone who helped make the package such a great spam filter over the years, and here's a shout out to Bruce Gingery, who was an important mentor when I was first getting started with the package, his presence on the lists is missed.
