new pats posted - 20050919 (maintenance pats release, canonical beta)
NOTE: if you're using the latest pats, you should also be using the new
(e.g., newer than 20050302) package release.
ALSO NOTE: This release contains a beta test version* of the "canonical"
rules (patterns matching the compact left-anchors and/or the right
anchors are excluded from the list) - I haven't yet put it into
production here, but tests suggest that it's solid. I'll be putting it
into limited live testing here with this release. The wary may wish to
wait until the next release. If you decide to try it, make sure you're
using the right anchor strings in your access.db!
12061 patterns, 4514 right anchor strings. Lots of other new pats from
John at Spamhaus, plus some pre-greeting scans.
